Privacy Policy
What this site collects when you visit, why it collects it, how cookies and affiliate links work, and how to ask for your data.
Last updated: August 12, 2026
Introduction
This policy explains what this website collects when you visit, why it collects it, and what choices you have. It applies to this site only, not to retailer sites you reach through a product link.
Information We Collect
Information you give us. If you use the contact form or the email newsletter field, you provide a name, an email address, and whatever you type in the message body. We use it to answer you and nothing else.
Information collected automatically. Standard web server logs record your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring page, the pages you open, and the time of each request. Analytics software records page views, approximate location at city level, and how you arrived.
We do not collect payment details, government identifiers, or health information. Purchases happen on the retailer's site under the retailer's own privacy policy.
How We Use Information
We use collected information to answer messages you send us, keep the site running and secure, understand which pages get read so we can improve them, and measure whether outbound product links work.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
This site uses a small number of cookies. A preference cookie remembers that you dismissed the cookie notice so it does not reappear on every page. Analytics cookies count visits and page views in aggregate.
Affiliate links may set a cookie on the retailer's domain that credits this site if you complete a purchase there. That cookie is set and read by the retailer, not by us.
Every current browser lets you block or delete cookies through its settings. Blocking them does not prevent you from reading any page here.
Third-Party Services
We use third-party analytics to measure traffic, and we link to retailer sites including Amazon. Those services process data under their own privacy policies. Read the privacy policy of any site you visit through a link from here.
Data Retention
Contact form messages are retained for as long as needed to resolve your question and for a reasonable period afterward for reference. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Server logs rotate on a rolling schedule measured in months.
Your Choices and Rights
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Send the request from the email address in question so we can match it to a record. Depending on where you live, local law may give you additional rights, including the right to object to processing or to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection and access to any stored message data is limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage on the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
This site is written for adults buying training equipment, often for young athletes. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the site changes. The revision date at the top of the page shows when the current version took effect.
